Sequence of Determiner

  Predeterminer:

‌‌♦ Fractions: One-third, two-thirds, one-fifth.

♦Multiplier:Single, double, twice, three times, two times.

♦Others: All, both, half, such, what.

মনে রাখার কৌশলঃ

উভয় ( Both) গ্রুপের সবাই ( All) বা অর্ধেক ( Half) FM ( F- Fractions ; M-Multiplier) শুনতে গেছে এটা         ( Such) কি ( What)!

Central Determiner:

♦ Article: A, An, The.

♦Demonstrative: This, That, These, Those.

♦Possessive: My, our, your, his, her, its.

♦ Others: Each, Every, Either, Neither, Enough, No.

মনে রাখার কৌশলঃ

ADP ( A- Article ; D- Determiner ; P- Possessive) যথেষ্ট ( enough) না ( no) হওয়ায় প্রত্যেকে( each;every) হয়ত ( Either) নয়তো (neither) করতেছে।

  Post Determiner:

♦ Cardinal: One, Two, Three…..

♦ Ordinal: First, second, third…..

♦ Others: Many, Much, Few, Little, Each, Some, Several, more, a lot of, plenty of, a large number of.

মনে রাখার কৌশলঃ

অনেক ( many ;much) কিছু ( Some ; few) ছোট ছোট ( little) বিষয় OC( O- Ordinal ; C- Cardinal) কে জানানো কি অতিরিক্ত ( more) নয়।

Sequence of Determiner:

তিনটি Determiner পাশাপাশি থাকলে নিচের Sequence অনুযায়ী বসবে।।।

Pre determiner + Central Determiner + Post Determiner. ( Pre + Cen + Pos)

Example:

1) Double(pre) his(cen) salary.
2) All(pre) the(cen) laws.
3)Both(pre) the(cen) boys.
4)Those(cen) five(pos) pens.
5)Their(cen) three (pos)sons.
6)The(cen)first(pos)boy.
