1) কোন Sentence এর Subject হিসেবে Gerund /Infinitive /Verbal noun এর যেকোন একটি form ব্যবহার করলেই হবে।

★ Reading book is my hobby. (Gerund)
Or
★ To read book is my hobby. (Infinitive )
Or
★ The reading of book is my hobby (Verbal noun)

 উপরের তিনটি বাক্যের বাংলা অর্থ একই “বই পড়া আমার শখ। “

# Note Gerund/infinitive /verbal noun যখন Subject হিসেবে বসবে তখন ঐ Sentence এর Verb singular হবে।

2) উদ্দেশ্য বুঝানোর জন্যে to/in order to /so as to যেকোনোটা ব্যবহার করা যাবে।

★ The officer took the gun to kill the tiger.

★ The officer took the tiger in order to kill the tiger.

★ The officer took the gun so as to kill the tiger.

উপরের তিনটি বাক্যের বাংলা অর্থ একই “অফিসার বন্ধুকটি নিয়েছিল বাঘটি মারার জন্য “

#Note : to /in order to /so as to এর পরে সব সময় Verb এর Base form বসবে।
